At Athens Mastering we are experts in restoration, remastering and digitizing of audio archives. Since 25 years we treat the audio archives in the best possible ways. Using the best analog reproducers and the best of the restoration tools as also having extensive experience we can offer to our clients excellent results.
For the restoration of old recordings as also processing and solving problems of new recordings we use many hi-end tools like the famous No Noise system by Sonic Studio, the Weiss DNA 1 , Spectral cleaning methods etc
No Noise system is a myth by itself since 1985! No Noise with all its upgrades is considered insurpraised in terms of transparency and effectivnes even if some of this operation cannot be in real time.
No Noise remastering
- Declicking: Elimination of clicks, tsak and pops.
- Decrackling: Elimination of surface noise
- Denoising: Elimination of tape hiss and other broad band noises.
- Filtering: There are 512 types of filters who can be combined together at the same time, for special noises (Hum, Buzz etc.) in certain parts of frequency spectrum with maximum accuracy.
- Manual declicking: After the previous procedures this is the best tool for solving some remained problems. With manual declicking we can recreate the damaged signal applying different algorithm for each case.
