Chris Hatzistamou has studied biology in the university of Patras and is a gratuated guitarist.

He has worked for many years as a composer, musician, orchestrator, producer and sound engineer. He is known for his dedication to purist recording methods and sound processing. The last 16 years he specializes in mastering.

Chris’s clientelle, includes almost every single established composer, singer, song writer and producer in this country. He has mastered or remastered albums of : M. Hatzidakis, M. Theodorakis, G. Markopoulos, S. Xarhakos, M. Loizos, D. Savopoulos, M. Plessas, D. Galani, A. Protopsalti, H. Alexiou, S. Yannatou, Th. Antoniou, E. Arvanitaki, only to name a few…and has also worked with lots of succesful greek rock and pop bands and artists like: Raining Pleasure, Human Touch, M. Chris Hatzistamou is highly respected within the international mastering community and has participated along with the world’s most succesful engineers in several advertising campaigns of major hi-end audio brands such as Weiss, Sonic studio e.t.c.

After having worked on over 5000 albums in his 16 year career as a mastering engineer, Chris still treats each recording individually, listening to the sound material over and over before he puts his fingers on his knobs and buttons.
